Default Old Handles - Can we get a menu setting for this?

It's an ordeal to have to go into Regedit to fix this.

With every beta update, I have to search through my old posts on Talkgraphics to find this setting as I don't have it memorized.

Sheff, not sure what product you are using. I know of no "beta update" either.
I'll assume you are using XPro+ but the logic is the same for any product.

You only need my resulting file, but here is the process to create this file. Thereafter, you should not need to access RegEdit again.

    Open RegEdit.
    Search (Ctrl+F) for ShowXCBoundsBlobs2.
Check you are in the right product.
If not, press F3 until you are.
In the left pane, the 'Selector Tool' folder will be highlighted.
Right-click on that and Export after you have made value changes in the right pane.
Rename this .reg file to your needs.

I have changed mine .reg file to a .txt one so it will upload into TG.
It also presents people accidently running the file and changing their Registry.

    Selector Tool Options - XProSub x64 Sub.txt
Examine the file in a text editor and made changes as you need.
Finally, change its file extension back to .reg.
    Store in a safe place.

With your Xara application unopened, double-click to alter your Registry.

As far as I can see, I have keep the few Registry changes that I have made between updates.
Perhaps Xara considers the new blob handles to be vital to its deployment.

To recap, change the values in the attached as you require. Change it to .reg. Run with your app is closed.
This all avoids you having to hunt through the Registry.

P.S. Playing with Registry settings can trash your machine so back it up first if you have doubts.
