Default Animation export error message: Failed to tween object...

I keep getting the error message: “Failed to tween object “such and such”. Blend error: it's not possible to have nested tween names between frames “N/A” and “Frame 1”.

I get these error messages all the time when I try to export. If it’s not between one frame it’s another. I have named the objects that I am animating, and the animation works perfectly when I preview it.

Does anyone know what’s going on here?

I have attached the file below.

I can't replicate those errors, the animation exports as per attached without doing anything to your file other than export animation.

What version of Xara are you creating this in?

    Try running as administrator.

I deleted the two offending Names and the AVI generated, all of 2.6GB.
    I didn't bother running it.

What are you hoping to achieve?

It must be tidier to use CSS if it is just a web page animation.

you should be able to bring that 2.6GB down in handbrake or such depending what final format you actually want... even so...

Recently, I came across 'Friction", an open source animation program for SVG. (https://friction.graphics/)

Since then never used Xara any more for animations.

But for making the SVG's it's still perfect

Thank you everyone for your responses. I apologise for not responding earlier.

I finally figured out the problem. One of the animated objects is a group, and at an earlier stage I had tried making it a Soft Group which didn’t work well for what I was trying to achieve. When I had ungrouped the Soft Group, the name I had given it still stuck to the individual objects that had made up the Soft Group. When I deleted these names the export worked.

I guess this was the “the two offending names” you were alluding to, Acorn.

Interesting that you could get it to export okay, Egg Bramhill. I am using Designer Pro X version 17 (Magix version)

Michael. Thanks for that link. Usually in Canada our winters are quite long. My project this winter is digging into some of the programs mentioned in the Xara forum. This will be one of them.
With the help of @acorn and many others I’ve learned much.
