I guess the 50% Serif Affinity discount is all about increasing their user base and getting people hooked in before doing whatever they are going to do in the future. Either way it's a good deal for what you get right now.

I too think Xara have got their one-time purchase products pricing set too high and not a particularly tempting price for attracting new users (imho!). I suppose they have to do what they have to do.

Serif They claims they got 3M users. I think they are no longer Serif, they have been bought out.
