Default Xara upload folders on service providers - information

For the new Xara folks they’ll often wonder where they can find their upload files. Since Xara uses its own uploader, often new users look for files that are uploaded. Since the board often references html folders and sub folders it leaves many users confused. (I was one of them). Xara users first just look at their local files, and see one xara file only, leaving them cold.

Your files can be seen through your service provider. You may log in and see your files through your cpanel; which may be called something else, but your files are there. If one uploads with FileZilla or a similar product they also can see their files.

Again, the board references html files often, especially in cases referencing code. Files uploaded can also be seen within Xara on the publish page > explore web space.

Xara is an amazing tool and often users want to see their files. Just info for newcomers.

Great Bill and for newbies you can also export your website to your local hard drive. This export folder will then contain all the same files that are generated via the publish option but located on your local PC.
