Yes been around this carousel before, seems there's still no way to do this then - how silly.

if I were doing something really accurate I would want to avoid fractions altogether which is one thing millipoints do; anything smaller than a millipoint, xara is not your app

you could try using scaling maybe, not ideal I know

Steve, there's been a lot of discussion around measurements.
If you input mm to 3dp, Xara internally stores as milliPoints; there is little loss of accuracy (@handrawn's #6 above).
If you create your own Unit, you overcome the Xara mm display rounding.
Scaling is also a useful approach.

thanks Mr G - I remember discussion just not got any to hand

I do remember that if you enter 3 decimal places xara will take that into account, but not display it; that is the sort of dead reckoning I can do without, possibly Chris too

So the work I do in the industry I'm in works in mm so it's for professional reasons. Millipoints go down several decimal places of a millimeter so accuracy isn't an issue the decimal places in. Besides you can put the decimal places in manually, and it calculated it correctly, it's simply the display rounds up, it's literally just a display limitation/option of rounding up... It literally doesn't have to be fixed this way it's simple.
