Cant convert blended text into a bitmap

I just had something happen that is new to me. I tried to convert a blended text into a bitmap but all that happens is that I get a blank box with no error message. I've been doing this for ages and never had an issue. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

how are you doing this - bitmap copy ?

if the text happens to have a transparency type applied directly or indirectly this might happen - by default there would be a warning but this might have been switched off in the past

@handrawn's advice still applies and throws up a fail if you just use True Colour.
If desperate to get an image file then Preview the text (without bitmapping it) and right-click save from the browser.

Ultimate hue just does not work in Bitmap Copy.

OK. Make a copy of the blended text. Convert to Editable Shapes, then create your bitmap.

gary, it still fails if you have a Hue transparency.

I have checked all the old and new Transparencies and Hue is the one that is the problem. Still a fail if Hue is added to shapes, image or text. Whether the OP used Hue is another matter.

pedant says it does not fail with hue transparency - the transparency filter is doing what it is supposed to do if there are no other objects to interact with, and a single newly created bitmap is unitary [by definition]
I used these filters a lot back in the day... could not think of anything else based on the info given

after all this though, it is but one piece of guesswork as to what the issue actually is....

...which is why I use CSS mix-blend-mode as then I have full control.
I know that Xara pre-processes effects and CSS is post-processing but I can handle both ways. It is also mainly for web design but that is my focus.
