I have never made a modular website but for a large makeover combining Mary's art and author sites into one site, I thought I might give it a try.

My question is: How do I make content on the main site automatically appear on the cellular variant?

Igary, i assume you are talking about Xara Plus Modular Websites.

If you double-click a Web block in the Designs gallery, the block is automatically added to both Main and Variant.

And is a Modular website also a Responsive Site?

Select all the bits and I think it's Edit > Create Web Block.

Assuming you already Shared the bits to the Variant, repeat the create.

Any other way is messy.
It's similar to how Xara mangles NavBars.

I think WBs are still flaky for self builds.

I suppose the old saying, If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. I'm just getting lazy in my advancing years.
