I tried to be rather "artistic" than accurate. A lot of feather effects were used.
Just an attempt at drawing people and especially clothing.

    Next theme: architecture.

Great illustration (or should I say art?) Balazs! Your contributions are very inspiring. I can hardly wait for your coming architectural posting. It will give me something to look forward to while I'm away on vacation suffering through xara withdrawal symptoms.

Was the above illustration drawn in greyscale?

The original was a colour photo. I was drawing in grey scale because I thought the colours were not important in this picture.

    Hello Magyar

I love the posterized quality of the image. Especially the folds and shadows on the white shirt and on the black pants.

It reminds me of Europoean poster art from the early part of the last century.

    Balazs,

Your drawings are so clean and crisp!

The shading of the folds in the pants are amazing!

I can't wait to see more...

How long did it take you to complete the drawing?

It's hard to tell. I started it two weeks ago but I wasn't working constantly. It took approx. 8-9 hours.

Hi - I notice that you sign your posts with the initials "MB". This has me wondering if when we refer to you as "Balazs" are we using your last name? Some people find it rude to use only the last name - and of course none of us want to be rude. Around here we tend to use what we think are people's first names in the attempt to be friendly. Please advise your new friends...

    Regards, Ross

PS - Perhaps we should call you "Master-MB" for the masterful art you inspire us with.
