What have I done?

Hi Everybody,

Xara Web Designer Premium 19.0.1.65946 DL x64 Feb 7 2023
Windows-10 Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.2364)

I don't know how I managed to do this:
The Page & Layer Gallery for my project now lists a separate page for each page I have actually fashioned.
I did make 1.Index but I have no idea where 2.Index comes from. And so on, for each subsequent eight pages.

If I delete 2.Index then 1.Index is also deleted.

Utilities > Website variants > Website variants lists one variant, [main].



What might I have done to make this happen, and how can I correct it?

Displaying both variants at one time.
This might be in views somewhere. As you mention it’s displaying 2 variants at one time.

It could be handy feature. It’s a setting I’m sure. I’m looking around in views.

I know of no mechanism to show Main and Variant(s) in the Page & Layer gallery at the same time.
It is more likely to be a design file error.

I would contact Xara for their direct assistance.

I have no idea what may have caused this multi-variant display. I got to a point where it was going to be
much easier to simply start a new project and start over. Lots of copy and paste but it's a computer. It'll
do what I want it to do. (most times)
Another thought: Can I mark posts as "RESOLVED"?

Paul, you can not but a Mod can Close the Thread, which I will do, if you agree.
Closing Threads is useful as it stops rubbish being added by Spammers. If there is a genuine need to re-open that too is easy to do; raise a new Thread and ask for it to be merged into a closed Thread.
