Guide lines disappeared ... DesignerPro x9

I am stuck. Search=no similar problem found.
I have a 7-page DesignerPro X9 (love it) project: all my guidelines had disappeared. Tried creating new ones (i.e. USA letter size page; Vertical; 0.3125 showed up off the right side of the page; spent hours last night... could not figure out what I did wrong. Opened a new, blank, page ... setting of guide lines worked just fine. What did I miss/do?

no expert on this but in my experience:

sometimes guide lines do not appear immediately, need to zoom in/out to make them appear

if offset - check your ruler/origin point and your scaling

also check the layer gallery settings

handdrawn ... thanks. I just noticed something : my ruler seems to be offset? Never experienced this ... how to fix? Or is it okay?

on the horizontal ruler line above the workspace you will see a + on the far left - click on this and drag to position your origin, and same for vertical if necessary

edit - you can double click on the + to return origin to default

Thanks ; I'll make a note of that. However, I turned off the rulers for a minute or two; then back on, and they had returned to 'normal'. Appreciate the advice. I use this program a LOT! Thank you.
