Exporting .png with transparent background

When trying to export a png file with transparent background, the "transparent" option is grayed out / not available. I have used this in the past but not working now for some reason. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is it possible for you to attach the object you are trying to export?

And is your color depth set to True Color + Alpha?

Ah! No, color depth was not set to True Color + Alpha. Had no idea that would affect this.
