XDP X19

Can anyone please tell me the difference between Xara Designer Pro X+ and Xara Designer Pro X19?

I looked at X19 and went through part of the purchase process and towards the end, it showed that it's a Yearly Subscription.
Is that right?

according to magix' site their version, which is version 19, is still on the yearly update service, extension of which is optional - that is the version I have and i have not been notified of any changes to this

designer pro+ direct from xara's own website is subscription

maybe the text on magix' site is imprecisely translated ?

Pro X is managed by Magix. Pro+ I believe is managed and continues to be developed by Xara.

Pro+ is available as a cloud and/or desktop app. The cloud version permits collaboration between people with cloud access. So for example if you and I were collaborating on a logo design we could both have access to the same files. Or a client could make updates to his/her website.

and on that basis pro+ gets updated regularly, pro 19 does not; most of the updates now seem to relate to websites and office branding documents rather than graphic art...
