Password expiry ???

Today on opening TG in my browser I got the following message. I've been logging in with the same password for the last 6.7 years. Strange time to request a new password. WTF?

OK, we have been experiencing a bit of spamming related to sleeper bots emerging and using the same password repeatedly. That has now been caught and also impacts those who use the same password regardless but may themselves have been hacked. We have had some of these already.

Password renewals are now 6 monthly as well.

TG Admin is trying to protect you from being blocked across a number of levels.

Yes, time certainly flies. Not sure how you slipped under the radar though. I think you have to update your password once a year.
