Placeholder position near bottom of pages - repeat

What holds the placeholder at the bottom of each page, if you repeat on all pages and yet each length of a page can be different so need to coincide with the bottom or thereabouts?

Select the object(s) you want to stick to the bottom of the page, then:

File > Page Options > Page Size (tab) > Auto-Fit To Page (button)
Deselect Automatic and select Bottom (radio button)

Then, when you repeat on all pages, the object(s) stick the bottom of the page, regardless of how long each page is.
