Hi Andre, Xara are supposed to announcing a new/amended version today but no news yet. I checked and it says there is an update available but if I try to download it I get the following message. Work in progress I guess

I got the same error but when I tried for a second time it downloaded.
Problem is, when I check the version, remains the same. Nothing changes and nothing about the new features. Confusion from Xara once again!

Modular website blocks - this is probably X Builder 2022 from Xaratemplates.com, only it will probably be packaged into the program.
We'll see, I hope it will also be in classic XDP.

Andre, you were fortunate to be advised of something new today. I have not, so your early notification might be ahead of the documentation.

The Pro+ Release is Xara Designer Pro+ 23.0.0.66277 SL x64 Mar 13 2023.
The other Xara Plus applications usually quickly follow.

You could bookmark https://www.xara.com/uk/designer-pro/whats-new/ and refresh it occasionally.
Ultimately, you will also get an update into http://releasenotes.xara.hosting/designer-pro-plus/. This is presently flagging as a 404 Error so something is afoot.

I may be lucky, but I clicked Help > Check for updates and the update downloaded and installed successfully first time.

Still no email from Xara but I followed the Web Designer Pro release notes as suggested by Acorn and built a three page Modular website containing several blocks very easily which included a Google Map and automatically updated menu.

First impressions are good as you can continue with Freeform websites if required. The templates are not from XBuilder but present opportunities particularly for the novice user.

The update is currently unavailable from Magix, so nice one Xara!

Thanks for that jayceeuk. Any details on modular building will be appreciated. How does effect the variant building?

Andre7 please view the Xara Designer Pro+ Release Notes for March 2023 for information about Modular websites. I have successfully tested all the features described in the Release Notes and using blocks is similar to using other apps such as Mobirise. I found the Modular websites using the March 2023 XDP+ easier to use than XBuilder.
