Keyboard shortcut for Guides visible/not visible?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to toggle the (red dotted line) 'Guides' being visible/not visible?

I looked but could find anything.

darn how did I miss that, probably because it is listed in customise under 'show' and not 'hide' doh

handrawn, my setup has Show Guides - Toggles the 'show guides' state. NUM 1 in the Windows dropdown has a tick action, which means it is a toggle. Ctrl+NUM+1 does not have any action for me.

FYI ... NUM 1 works on XP&PG-18 as well ...

Sorry I don't understand.
What do you mean by "NumPad"?
On my [Logitech K850] keyboard, I have a key called "num" which toggles on/off the righthand number keys to act as numbers. Are you suggesting that I hold it down and then hit the "1" key?
Or do something with the Function ("Fn") key?

Press the key that is labelled Num - a light should come on.

All keypresses on the number pad will now return numbers when these are pressed. With it off it, acts as as extended navigation buttons.

Anyhow, with Num On, all you then do is press the 1 key to toggle Guides.

Numpad+1 is shorthand to say press the 1-key on the number pad when Num is On. You are not pressing the 1-key that is under the Function Keys row.
