    Default A Sidecar

Ha! It's not what you thought.

My son is well into making Cocktails and he made me this one.
This is the very first Cocktail I've ever had.

It's called a 'Sidecar' and the reason he chose this one, is that it's Brandy based.
Brandy is about the only spirit I drink, so you can see why he chose it!

I saw a picture and decided that this one was a good one to try and draw.
The glass he served it in, was very similar to this one.

It was a lot more work than I thought it would be. I was beginning to wish I hadn't started!

    Brilliant ...

If we still had Xara Xone, you could do another tutorial.

    Wow! You nailed it.

My only suggestion is clean up the base. You don't need the reflections and they detract from the frosted glass at the top.

I don't agree with that. They make the picture more interesting, more 'alive' (for lack of a better word).

Great drawing Rik! Glass & liquids are difficult things to draw, far easier to drink though.

I did think about that, as well.
And some will agree with you and some may not.

So... would you say that this one looks better?

Well... no matter what the opinion is from TG members, we have all been over-ruled by Lynn.
So, I've now printed the second one!

I think, both images have their merit.
