In hindsight I should have stated the reason my post. It was annoying, yet not surprising, to see this hadn’t been fixed after all this time. A search of this forum turned up nothing on the subject. I wanted to put it out here should someone from Xara happen along.

julia, it is not a required fix from Xara as it stated the Pen was not a useful Tool, regardless of what Customers expected or wanted.

You can add it to a Custom Toolbar and it remains.
It probably should also drag and stick to the sidebar.
You can use XaReg > General > Pen Tool to add it without using the Registry.
