Default Using @ to do a search.

OK I am a bit slow getting to the party and just discovered this today. Adding @ to TalkGraphics and doing a search brings up this https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=%40...=v357-1&ia=web

My question is, is the @ preceding a word or phrase used for anything else? Like an address for one of the social media apps?

Gary, the @ symbol is normally used when you want to address or name someone in a post.
Some applications immediately resolve the name into a clickable link to that site's entry for that person or group.

Each social media app has its own quirks: https://www.socialmediatoday.com/soc...-tags-and-tags.

Next to little use in a web search as results will usually only hit some social media content.
