it is exactly the same as pages that haven`t been edited and so work ok!
which means there is nothing in what you posted that can point anyone towards what is wrong; which is not to say someone cannot give an educated guess....

a page that has the problem, posted here as a .WEB or .XAR file, could be examined to see what is actually going on

Freeliner, there should not be a layer between MouseOver and MouseOff.
    Check your other pages.

On https://www.kfac.co.uk/membership.htm, none of your buttons have any rollover effects, despite there being a MouseOver image available.
Also I can never fathom why designers of top-level menus use Xara's NavBar mechanism when a straight button suffices.

Xara has never "nerfed" its software.

I don`t bother with mouseover effects on buttons, not a big fan of them.

Oddly enough, other pages have a `photo` layer between mouse over and mouse off but they work fine.

Anyhow, I`ve gone back to basics, below is a new blank page with four buttons. Two have been placed in a text box, two outside. The second photo is the end result on the net

If someone can point me in the direction of getting a .web or .xar file I`ll happily post one up as I can appreciate that this is a more accurate way of solving a problem.Click image for larger version.

Freeliner, a .web or .xar file is Xara's default file type that is created on saving. To attach one merely do the same as you are doing when you browse for the images your attaching here but instead select your web or xar file.

Is this the place to upload the xar files? I must be getting something wrong (as usual) as I`m going through the files selection / upload bit and nothing shows

    This is so frustrating!!!

click on the add files button, them click on the browse button to find the file on your computer - once you have found this, clicked open to close the file explorer window, you then have to click the upload button

    its a faff, true

if you have done all that and it does not upload it may be too big... which is why egg suggested you just upload a XAR?WEB file with the one offending page in it...

the file size limit is 10MB

Multiples of 36MB each are way too big.

Please advise how I go about saving a file of just the one page. If I click the `web file it open the entire site in Xara

Make a copy of your design.
    Delete all the other pages.
    Save and send.
