it's an old xara users group link, XUG does not exist anymore; the URL is one used back in the day by an XUG member, the redirect looks like a lottery/betting site to me....

I'm not sure I go back that long ago, so thanks for clarifying that. The betting site, then, pays for access to dead links, I guess.

Boy, it's just the buying of a domain that is up for grabs then redirect all links to their gambling site or whatever.
That way they exploit past Google rankings for a time.
It probably only costs a fiver a site so dead cheap advertising.
