new handles on text and photo box

how do I MOVR and item (eg text block or photo)
1/2 the times it makes an copy and I have to delete the old one

Obviously it shouldn't.

All i can offer is to check your mouse:
If USB, it may have a conflict with other devices.
If battery, check levels.
If old, give it a clean and check for a drive update.
Try another.

I recently had a dying USB stick that created all sorts of issues.
Previously, I had a mouse that failed with WiFi was active.

guessing the mouse left click was echoeing/??
