I figured it out, too, handrawn. You were right. The problem was that I hadn't clicked the 'Edit Document' button to show the layers.

    welcome to the page

I confess I muddied the waters somewhat, because I was loading the SVG and you and egg were placing [inporting] into a file; they don't quite work the same way....

I apologize for not answering here sooner: I didn't receive the notifications, so I thought there was no answer! I realize that I was wrong!

From my side, I don't know if what I'm going to say is very rational, but the problem was solved quickly, because in affinity, I just had to open the .svg file and then give it the resolution of 300 dpi, to find my file with the right size. Changing from "not much dpi" to 300 dpi did not affect any features of my image. So for me it's ok!

I want to add that if I export in svg and not pdf, it's because with pdf export, all the elements of a drawing dance rock'n'roll together - or the waltz? - at the same level, without any layer that classifies them. While the svg export keeps the layers, and that changes everything.

(I already spend 3 times too much time when switching from one software to another, to prefer to avoid "everything on the same layer" )

(My process is : I draw in Xara, I do the textures in Affinity, and I name/rename/correct in Illustrator, to import in... After Effect ! = Yes, a kind of horrific process !)
