problems with transparencies...

In the image, the ones above are the same objects as the ones below, only the ones above are Sticky.

Why does transparencies hurt me if I remove the sticky?

You need to set the image to PNG.

@rhdpre07, it is not obvious.

Xara has a blanket "Let Xara choose" that has never been tweaked since it included Sticky.
Sadly, many of Xara's added features come with unintended consequences that stymy and frustrate.
It is only through TG support, we get to see beyond the blockers.
