Xara Button Link

Hi Not sure if this right place to post this but I keep getting Xara button link when I upload the sight? It is not showing on the design side of the index page when I try to find it but only on live site?

I have been deleting it on the server so not major problem just an irritation the button link is this:-

Stewart, I created a new Thread for you.

Look in Web properties > Export > Viewer options: untick Xara logo.

Saving you a lot of code deletions.

Thanks for your reply....checked this and it is greyed out so cannot select? The button appears on the far left on only the index page and I only happened to notice it when I zoomed out of chrome by mistake so might have been there from day one! Obviously as I have page width set to device there have been time when the site looked "strange" and off centre.

That's strange, you should be able to tick/untick & Apply.

In a TG Reply, there should be a toolbar top of the Reply with a tree icon.

It is possible your design file is corrupted.
In the same dialog, change from transition effect (Website) to Scroll.
The options should be accessible. Select all three and Preview. Is the Xara button the same in the same place?
Then untick all three and revert to Website and try again.

I find the filename '-2147435366.png' unusual as the display tool bar uses data:bas64... for its images.

We can work through recovering but I would check again after you purge your sever location and are not altering the generated code. Either could be affecting what you are seeing.

Have attached SS of site and web porperties...

When I noticed the button I did a re-install to see if it disappeared but it was still there when uploaded?

Did as you suggested and button image is in same place when previewed locally on my PC - I haven't uploaded the site as already deleted the code on server.

I have Xara Web Designer Premium 19.0.0.64291 DL x64 May 3 2022 - which I am told is the latest version.

Stewart, possibly less of a problem.

The missing graphic link is to Xara and is a button so nothing to do with a Xara logo.
The button may no longer have an image but its background/placeholder still exists and may be stuck on a a locked layer or locked itself.

In your design, marquee drag from the page top left to a bottom right that should select the shape.
If it does delete it, checking you have not deleted other items.

If you switch Windows > View Quality > Outlines, it should show the shape.

If you cannot select it (as it is locked), go to the Page & Layer gallery and pick the All layers/objects editable icon (last item on the toolbar there).

Did try to "Grab" with marquee earlier but no luck! However, did as you suggested to reveal all objects and there it was tucked up all snuggly on the page. Only "problem" now after doing this action is the navigation buttons are all highlighted as if pressed down and not sure how to get it back to looking normal again...

Stewart, just press the All layers/objects editable icon again. MouseOver should then be hidden.
If not you can hide it separately with its adjacent show/hide icon.
