    And the two fills, which reside in the Bitmap Gallery were applied to two duplicate shapes and the fills match.
    @handrawn, you're right and I'm wrong.
    @Gary, I took it as a Bitmap Fill in a Shape to become a Bitmap Transparency that keeps the same size and alignment.

    @reinhard, the only solution I can determine is to make a Bitmap Copy of your rotated and scaled image then to place a no Fill Shape under it and make a Clipped copy of the two.

    With this you can apply a Transparency and also dynamically change the position, size and alignment of the clipping shape.

    I can see that working acorn....

    I just tested dragging a completely transparent bitmap off the desktop whilst holding shift, and that appears to work too...
