I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email client and I have the option of changing the Reply To: email address. I used this yesterday to respond to a message from a bogus email address that asked Did I receive his previous message.

His bogus response was delivered back to me via @duck.com

I completed a form to join a service providing web charting (Miro). I used a Private @duck.com email and I was enrolled without a murmur.
If I get nagged through spam to this email, I'll just delete the email address and work with any number of other Private addresses.
