laggy response on typing, moving items

Greetings,

I've recently found when using Designer Pro X 19 that I'm getting a time lag when typing in a text box and moving grouped objects around on a page. Words appear shortly after typing! It's infuriating.
Some of the documents are complex and include groups with graduated tints etc. I've never had a problem with Xara handling this before! Do you have any useful suggestions? Thanks as always.

I get this occasionally. I close and reopen the application.

It is particularly bad if there are Repeat across pages objects and links.

For typing, try Solo mode. It might help.
