    So very sad.
Like many others, I never met Larry.
But he genuinely seemed like a kind person.
I will certainly miss the banter I had with Larry.

Help me keep a promise that we all got behind ironically, begun by Larry-

In-memory-of-Bill-Taylor-How-about-a-Horse-font&highlight=Bill+Taylora decade ago. At that time, friends of Bill Taylor agreed that a typeface with Cherokee patterns and symbols would be a great idea.

I am going to do it over the weekend. Mike W. contributed some designs and I have a font making program if any of us remember the Fonts forum , and will use the weekend to complete te tribute.

Here's were someone can help me: we agreed the typeface was to be free, but also give it to the Cherokee Nation to sell, so maybe if we can close that deal (HELP ME!, said the Fly ), we do not offer the font for free. Perhaps we could set up a mechanism by which any donations that come to tg could be forwarded to the Cherokees.

I'll can and will do the font. I could use someone with connections and marketing skills very shortly to make this tribute to Bill mean something.

I see Barbara posted a painting I did with ArtRage to honor Larry. Let's do the same remembering Bill Taylor. Yes?

Bill's ancestry was part Cherokee; let us not forget the the Trail of Tears

OG Maybe Soquili (Bill Taylor) should be a separate thread?

Very sad to hear this news and thank you letting us know. Sympathies to his family.

Since joining the forum the scribble challenge has been a constant source of personal enjoyment. Looking through my folders I can clearly see Larry's scribble lines provided the prompt for many happy hours of doodling at the computer - quite often the sole motivation for drawing anything!

    RIP Larry

Totally reasonable, Og. As soon as I have made some progress on the typeface, I'll start a new thread, or add to the existing one.

It's sort of hared to lose members, and then get a tribute washed away by time when it's barely begun.

    Oog.
