I have put audio files on my Xara-website by drag and drop. It looks great during editing and preview but as soon as I publish my website, the
play knop disappears. Why is that?

please help me with this.

In the meantime, some clarification will help.
In XWDPv11, you will get a Placeholder image like:



This changes to an active player on Website Preview/Export.

What "knob" are you referring to?

An export should also provide a shedload of code, mainly JavaScript.
Does your browser block this?

I don’t mean to muddy the waters but …
Once you have solved your initial drag and drop problem there are many simple players you can incorporate. We have found that the Xara drag and drop is rather limited, at least in my estimation. It’s clunky and sometimes doesn’t display correctly.
A simple search on the forum comes up with many simple players, to jukebox solutions.
