ithas always been my understanding that in xara if the bitmap is 96dpi then it is 1:1 at 100% zoom
as acorn said, I usually drag to 96dpi... there is always a slight tolerance of about a pixel give or take, but that is in the nature of the beast

thinking about it, can you not just, at 100% zoom, resize your bitmap to 960 pixels wide on the infobar and then make a 96dpi bitmap copy to use?

Maybe this will do a better job of explaining my issue.
I did a screen capture of the Alignment menu using both Print Screen and as Chris suggested Win Key Shift S.
When I crop the screen capture and change the resolution to 96dpi as suggested, the screen capture is considerable larger.
The actual size alignment menu was created by manually reducing a screen capture of the menu to the width of the actual menu on screen.

I'm guessing you have windows display scaling set above 100%, which is probably the windows recommended setting for a 4K monitor [with mine it is 200%], but it will affect the screen capture

I'm not on the 4K cintiq at the moment but my 2K monitor which is set at windows display setting of 125% - the winkey+shift+S screen capture comes in at size 125% of the original at 96dpi....

checked and greenshot brings in my screenshots at 120 dpi on the 2K monitor so it is compensating for the scaling, by increasing the dpi of the shot
I rarely if ever actually work at 1:1 specifically, all my work is sync to a pixel frame size [eg camera]

Yes, exactly. And before I purchased my 4K monitor this is what I expected and what I got. But with my new monitor all bets are off (as is the scaling).Using Snip & Sketch (winkey Shift S) I selected 'Window' and pasted into Xara with no editing at all. Standard 1920 x 1080 monitor.
It captured 1920 x 1040 (height minus taskbar) at 96dpi.
This does seem like something Egg could figure out. He's good with things like this.
