    Default Confusion about "Guides"

    Hi Everybody,

I've had to include a screenshot of the issue that's becoming an unnecessary irritant.

You can see that the left-most vertical guide (Which I'll GUESS? is the "X" axis?) is lined up with the "0" on the top ruler.
Then, on the top-most horizontal guide (Again, I GUESS? is the "Y" axis?) is lined up with the "10" on the side ruler.

For my own piece of mind, I want to adjust that "10" to a "0". How do I manage that? and Should I care?
    Many Thanks,
    -Paul-
If I wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't have to be so persistent.

    vertical guides are Y

    horizontal guides are X

    as in mathematical graphs...

you wish to reposition them you just drag them

to add them click on the ruler at the point you want them

to delete them right click and select delete

You change the zero point under page properties, guides and rulers.

In CAD programs, I have changed the zero point but in Xara I have not found a need. I am not trying to do precision objects in Xara for construction.

it's relative - as long as you don't change it halfway through then which ever origin point suits you best
