Spiraling Out of Control - Art Brush - Stereogram

It occurred to me that a line of text could be used to create a stereogram.

So I created and modified a spiral, and create a line of text and applied a 80% black to white gradient fill.

From this line of text I created an Art Brush and applied this to the spiral to get the depth image.

When I tried to apply a color version of the text to an Art Brush it did not work. So I just used the grayscale image, changed the line color to white, and placed a rainbow colored fill over the text and applied Multiply transparency.

And it kind of works.

I'm not sure why this did not work yesterday, but today I just selected a line of text with a gradient fill applied and created an Art Brush. And it worked fine.

Not so fine for a stereogram though. Fewer words work better.
