Exporting Site prior to Posting to the Internet

I am having trouble exporting my website, A message appears saying the site is exporting but when it finishes it hasn't exported, I don't want to risk posting it to the internet because if doesn't work I am back to square one, Although I'm following advice given in the Web Designer Premium manual I must be doing something wrong but I am completely stumped as to what it is. Can anybody help?, Cheers Old Codger

I am presuming you are trying to export your site to a specified folder on a hard drive.

Here's the step-by-step process followed by pretty pictures.

File > Export Website (Windows file explorer opens), choose a destination folder and click Export.

The last pic shows the resulting export (presuming everything worked). Double click 'index.htm' to view the site.
