And I thought Poser was plasticine people.

Only comment: the skin is a little too rough for me, but this is a side-remark.

Another app I should buy one day, when I'll be rich???

    ...this is almost unreal.

Thanks for posting the link Erik! Sad thing that I'm still running with poser 3...

It's truly incredible what this artist has accomplished.

I think the skin 'may' appear a little rough only because of the lighting used. In order to get a decent amount of detail in the darker areas though, i think the skin texture's bump map would need to be as "detailed" as it's seen there.

Great work though i must say.
I love the little girl's eyes.

Here... have a look at this one too:

I got version 4 of Poser recently and wot a difference! Not only is the interface simplified and quite Bryce-like in navigation, but animation is stressed. You have mouth expressions so you can drag an animation into Premiere (or Ulead's video editor...much better but Windows only) and synch recorded voices, and when you export these people to other programs (hint: obj and 3D metafile work best), you can put people, horses, cats and other animalia into Bryce and other renderers to REALLY make this stuff look realistic.

Poser 4 could easily eat up a lot of your time!!!

    Best,
    Gare
