Xara Extreme Pro 5

Hi Everybody,
I recently became aware that the graphics capability in my Web Designer Pro 18 program is missing several features that are included with an old copy of Xara X1. I have several different Xara products. Xara has treated me well, and Talkgraphics stands alone on top of a list of user-centric forums. Reminds me of how outright friendly and active forums were many years ago.

So! Back to Xara X1. I've heard of an upgraded package called Xara Extreme. It doesn't appear to be available anymore and I wonder if the upgrade is worth the effort it's going to take to get a copy.
Are there significant differences between Xara X1 and Xara Extreme 5.0? I can't even find a description of Xara Extreme.

xara xtreme 5 is still available, but no longer free - you would need a serial number to activate it, do you have one ?

there have been a lot of changes in over 10 years

Hi Paul,

Since you have Xara Web Designer Pro, I would think that the most efficient way would be to upgrade to Designer Pro X which includes the 3 Xara programs in one. This may not be the least cost, but at least you have everything in one program.

that's a fair point - it depends wether the extra cost is worth only having to run the one program [since photo and graphic designer, like xara x, does not do web]
