Stumped! Full width bar

This ones a head scratcher. I've a full width bar, repeating, one variant only. Arrangement is to the front on a mouse off layer.
Displayed in preview and upload the bar is not stretching.

I've cleared cache. and also started the program once in adm mode. No luck.

Short of constructing and placing the bar again I don't know how to fix this one.

Included the screen shot. Something amiss. I'll probably reconstruct the bar again.

All ideas much appreciated.

Bill, on the off-chance of my memory working, there is a conflict with Stretching and Animations.
It is possible you achieved this by accident and have now been caught out.

It is more likely that the bar is touching the image (over or under) and that image is a JPEG or Let Xara decide - change the image to a PNG/WebP.

Thanks Acorn. I changed the rectangle to .png and its fine now.

Strange you should mention the stretching and animations. I've had trouble with this. You'll see in the pic "The Path" - then "Less Trodden" then the Bennett home.
I added a nice fade in to the first two lines of text -- and The Bennett Home disappears. Strangest thing. And of course the photo is a stretched Photo.
I guess I'll have to watch that -- also this has happened on another sight I work on. Same thing. Text disappears.

When I change the automation fade back to instant, the Bennett Home text is still missing. I usually have to add the text again. If that were not a stretch photo I wonder if it will work. Defeats the purpose though.

I wonder if I changed the photo to a .png if the animation would work.

Bill, I've looked at the site and the "The Bennett Home" does not form any part of the page.

I wonder if you added a Trigger Object Name to the text?
It could be on a layer that is hidden, which is not a pop-up.

Thanks @acorn. Doesn't look like it. No trigger and the text is not on a hidden layer. Strangest thing. I'll probably correct things by deleting and adding the text block again.
