Xara Designer Pro - Slow work after 10-15 min

Hi!

After 10-15 minutes of work, the Xara Designer Pro starts to work slowly, the selection, dragging of objects is extremely slow. If the program is closed and reopened, the same thing happens, regardless of the version, I tried from version 17 to 19.

my computer:

Intel i7-4790k

16Gb 1600Mhz

8Gb RTX 2070 Super

Windows 10 x64

Art2D, how many Repeat on all pages objects do you have with links? An example would be a NavBar of 10 items with 20 pages and two other variants.

Kaspersky Total Security - Xara app in exceptions
Turned off the antivirus, the situation does not change.
The system continues to work quickly, only Xara freezes
CPU and RAM less than 50% loaded

there are no such objects, all objects are without links, even if there are only 7-10 simple shapes on the page, after 10 minutes, the Xara starts to work slowly

Cheers for the reply. I've not met this problem with a similar set up.

I apologise if this sounds naïve but you mention v19. Have you run that just the once as Administrator and even cold booted your system since installing?

If I understand you correctly, then restarting the computer does not help, as well as reinstalling the Xara app, different versions from 17 to 19. And I did not try to run Xara as an administrator.
No other application or game has this behavior anymore, everything works quickly and without problems

you should run the program as administrator once

you should cold boot the computer - that is, shut it down and then reboot [not just restart from menu]

no guarantee it will fix but it should clear any installation loose ends....
