I upgraded to v19 mostly so I coud get the program on this lapt0p.

The best way (AFAICT) to 'upgrade' to Pro v19 is to download the trial version from the Magic website: https://www.magix.com/gb/photo-graph...-designer-pro/.

You can then enter your product key (it should be the same as for v18 or your 365 service); it can be retrieved using your login to Magix > My Products - do not try to copy and paste the product key; you need to enter it manually!

The upside is the Local Designs Gallery gets correctly loaded (which is not the case if you opt for the new upgrade service!).

This is a clean install and does not affect your v18 installation (AFAICT); you can continue to use both; any previously saved templates appear to come across to v19.

Currently using the Magix Notifier is a proper mess and loads a new version of the notifier into programs

No guarantees here, but I had to uninstall the v19 that came with the upgrade notifier and start again!!

Thanks for this - I had it downloaded, installed and registered faster than it took to get to 10% of the update procedure...and then it was in German.

Magix was a mistake, maybe not financially, but they are not caring for our baby.

Change the babysitter.

Magix' routine since version 17 is to make updates available twice a year. So, I'd expect the next one to arrive in more or less half a year from now.
