    Gary:

Hopefully I can try and explain with the two attached images.

Image 1: This is what I've always seen. Whatever the 3D image is, I will see it as standing out or cut in, depending upon the 3D map you've used.

Image 2: The whole section pops out of the computer screen. It is bounded top and bottom but not left and right. If I move closer or farther away from the screen, so does the 'popped out screen'. The 3D image is then cut into the screen.

All this would be much easier to explain if I was talking to you, rather than try and explain in writing!

Rik - This is the difference between divergence (parallel viewing) and convergence (cross eyes).

See this page for a more in-depth explanation. https://eyetricks-3d-stereograms.com...rams_work.html

Rik I see both of your examples easily and can hold them but this is not true of any of the others I tried to view could be due to my eye condition perhaps.

    Larry:

My images are NOT 3D images.

I just did that to show Gary the two different examples of what I see.

Because I was having so much trouble seeing the image, I thought I would try something different.
And I don't know what made me think of it. But, I can do this with every 3D image.
It's brilliant. The whole thing becomes truly 3D as it pops right out of the screen.
