xara hosting

I purchased space on XARA Hosting and can upload a web site using DP+ without problems and view in a browser, I am now trying to use FileZilla to upload a file.

I can use FZ to upload to another site OK - to my ISP with Host entry ftp.users.on.net.

FileZilla is rejecting the entry into Host - f4uc5s.xara.hosting.

I have tried many alternatives without success, perhaps spent to long on computer today:-((

The web site will be transferred using the correct domain name when it arrives.

Peter, for f4uc5s sake!

My Xara Hosting FZ settings are:

Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
Host: sftp.xara.hosting
Logon Type: Normal
User & Password: as set up

Hope this works for you.

If it fails, ask for a refund.
No service should be offered without SSH. I assume you were not provided or are able to use an SSL Certificate.

I have sent copy of domain certificate and other signed papers for changing from provided temporary Xara hosting http://f4uc5s.xara.hosting/thurgoonamensshed.com.au/ to thurgoonamensshed.com.au.
Have to study sticky link to change in the forum again and again.
Will try Acorn suggestion when I get to the office.
