    Default Excluding Pages from Publishing.

It's always amazed me that Xara Web Designer and Designer Pro don't have an option to stop a page from being included when a website is published. Other web design software I use have this option.

    Unless I'm missing something.....

I don't think you are missing something. All I can suggest is if you don't want a page to be viewed, don't link to it. It's a work-around for sure.

Steve, two things you can do.

First, Hide all Layers for that page.
When you publish, the page address still works but there will be no page content.
Yes, anything that exists for the Website and Pasteboard will still appear.
You could expose a layer that offers a Link to elsewhere on the site.

Second, add an HTML META redirection to immediately jump to the index page.
    Add a Placeholder and in its Head (code), put <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="0; url='index.htm' " />.
If it is on the Page Background, it is active. Drag off onto the Pasteboard and your page will stay open.

You can use either or both of these together.

Gary mentioned no linkage at all to any menu.
That’s exactly what I did. There’s a contest page that I’ve used very seldom, also a buy, sell, swap page that only is used on promotional occasions. The page still uploads, but simply does not exist.

Another quickie is to reduce the page height to 48px
Little will get published but the page & layers content still exists in the design so you need only change one thing.
You could leave the MenuBar active so the user have an escape route.
You could add a page wide bar with instructions and have a link away. Put this into a NotInUse layer that is normally hidden.
