Dear Xara...
...I have always found your pop-ups for the erasure steps of a photo to be quite discombobulating.
My approach needs fewer steps:
- For Help, click (?) to open Erasing Backgrounds and include:
- To erase the background from your photo, select the Mask Painter tool and roughly paint over some of the parts of the image you want to keep.
- Next, select the Eraser tool and roughly paint over the parts you want to erase.
- Now, click the Erase Background button.
The great thing is your pop-ups don't appear at any stage and Steps 1-3 need little referencing again as they are succinct enough to be remembered.
