    Was it your turd attempt?

In passing, how to you decide the background image you use?

I wanted this background to look fecal. It's a combination of many transparencies.

The original pattern was a rock, then I made a version with just the highlights to add a moist look, And then a lot of experimenting until the consistency was just right.

And to answer your question, Acorn. The best background patterns are very random so the shift in the pattern the software makes to create the depth is not obvious.

If the pattern is very orderly and geometric such as squares, then the shift in the pattern is very obvious and distracting.

The repeating patterns I use for the most part are 15-17% the width of the image. So each time the panel repeats, the software makes adjustments.

Gary, thank you for sharing. The mesh explains it perfectly.

The depth factor was what I normally use, Rik.
