    I hope this is the right part to post this]
    Basically what i want to do is create a page that i can add a file to so that someone else can down load (if that makes sense) the file is a powerpoint presentation thats to big to email - how would the best way to go about this be - i want to do it via my website

    Use Link to a File. For power point I would zip the file then add a link to the zip file.

    By linking to the file, the file is automatically uploaded when you publish your site and when a visitor clicks the link has the option to download the file. I think. I best try this out.

    Ah, OK yes and no. Yes, the download link to the file works, but on my computer Malwarebytes blocked the download as suspicious.

    I wonder if using something like Drop Box might be a better solution.
