PNG on top of streched object

Hello,
I have an issue, yet could not solve. I am not sure if I use the correct english XARA-terms for the items, because my version is German and thus, items-names may differ.

I have an standard jpeg picture as a "banner" on my website.
This jpeg is "streched to width".
But on top there should be a png picture, with transparent background (alphachannel).
The issue: You see on the picture attached. Instead of the trasnparency of the png, it shows the streched-object below, not streched but in original size. Result: double picture occur as background in the png object area.

Not easy to explain in words, this is why I have attached a picture.


P.S.:
The target is to "strech-to-width" the background picture and do place an png on top (not streched )

Yes. The transparency is lost and becomes a rectangular photo with the stretched photo as background.

Maybe one of the members will know how to stop this.

ich, you must tell Xara your PNG is a PNG - Web Properties > Image > Web image type: Lossless compression, eg.g. PNG.
