    After quite a struggle I caught the scribble line, quickly dispatched it and preserved it in a jar!

    all good - decorative as ever Penny; could say out of this world elgi; and jono... in our house we call a jar of gherkins 'pickled slugs' yours is sorta along those lines...

    Well, would you look at that. Someone stole my idea, time travelled and made biscuits out of them. The article says '80's, I was well and truly around in the '80's, but I never knew these existed.

    certainly the 70's i think 60's Uk, at least from memory, although i was of course far too small then to be eating such food []
