Re-Sizing Multiple Objects at Once

Hello,

Just wondering...when attempting to resize multiple objects on different pop-up layers (to fit when working between variant pages) the program slowwwws to a crawl. It seems as if it's processing the size changes in real time, rendering out new versions of the files? On my dual monitor set-up I noticed that while the program is "processing" or "rendering" my web browser window opens up and versions of the various assets start popping up at random. Is there any way to change this behavior?

I believe my machine has enough processing power/hard drive space...I run programs like Photoshop, Premier, etc. all the time without any issues. Just wondering if this is a behavior that anyone else has noticed or can help recitify.

Perhaps a little more info on the objects your resizing. Are they photos, do they have graduated colors, are the objects filled with textures? Things like that.

Most of the objects are .gif or video files. Some are .png files with transparency.
