Default Displaying a selected layer on page load

    Hi

I've searched the web/forum for solutions to what I thought would be a simple problem. But as usual things took a tangent.

Any what I want to do is to display a selected layer when the page loads. I have two layers 'tab2' and 'tab1' both above the MouseOver and MouseOff layer. Layer's tab1 and tab2 each contain a gallery object each gallery has a different set of images attached. When I load the page I would like 'tab1' to be displayed until the user clicks on a button, there is also a button to display 'tab2'.

If I put the 1st gallery object on the mouseoff tab as well then things work until an image that is smaller lets say on gallery2 when shown also shows the gallery1 object below it. Hence needing the 2 galleries on separate layers then either can be closed as required.

I just need a simple solution to automatically display 'tab1' when the page is loaded.

    Martyn, this will work: https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...619#post499619.
Rename Banner layer to tab1. Add a tab1 Named object on that layer. Change the code 'banner' to 'tab1'.

Thanks that works well. Never used names so i guess some more research is necessary.

A Name is just an HTML Anchor so can be caught with our CSS or Xara's triggers or Link to anchor.
