Help please - text panels

Hi, this is really bugging me but I've started development on a new site on the main page I wanted a text panel to highlight some text which it does fine. However it repeats on all pages and I can't get it not to. The stop repeating menu option is greyed out so I can't use that but for every existing page the text panel and its contents repeats.

Think I fixed it had to cut it off page the re paste it back in and strangely seems to work now.

If it is repeating top or bottom it might be set as a header or footer. Usually selecting one instance then right click and select Repeating Object > Stop Repeating > All Pages will stop the text from repeating on each new page but you will still have delete all the other occurrences.

Or if you only want it on one page, select the text and Cut it to the Clipboard, then select all instances. Then Edit > Paste > Paste in Place. Make sure the pasted text is not set to repeat on all pages.
